Welcome to our neighborhood! You have moved into a centrally located neighborhood and one of the safest in Dallas. We are proud of our record.

The main reason for our success is our very active neighborhood crime watch program that includes a Paid Police Patrol. Off-duty police officers patrol our neighborhood every night. We are a small community, but our patrol ranks 4^th in the entire city of Dallas in terms of the number of hours patrolled each week.

We began our neighborhood Crime Watch in June, 1992 and our Paid Police Patrol has been in force since September, 1992. As a member, you will display a sign in your yard that notifies others that the Paid Police Patrol protects you. You also will be provided the cell phone number of the patrol car to give you immediate access to the police officer when he/she is on patrol.

Some added benefits of your membership include a police escort to your house when you enter the neighborhood during patrol hours, investigation of noises or disturbances near your home, an immediate response to audible security alarms and 911 calls. With the advent of driveway robberies, assaults and murders, the benefit of a police escort to your door has been greatly utilized by members. In addition, the officers will inspect the exterior of your home while you are out of town.

To join and maintain your membership in the Paid Police Patrol, each household pays $700 annually plus one-time fee of $70.00 for a sign to post in your yard.

Won't you join us to help preserve the safety of our neighborhood? Less than 2% of membership dues go toward administrative expenses. Over 98% of the dues covers actual patrol costs. Please review the enclosed information and speak to any neighbors displaying the sign in their yard. I would love to answer any questions and will follow up with you. Financial records of the association are included in this packet of information demonstrating our commitment to keeping costs at a minimum.
